Where is 'let's start at the beginning, a good place to start' from?

The quote isn't exact, but it is something like it. I know it is in
Sound of Music, but I think it is from something else too. I imagine a
voice that is somewhat English, old, and gentle. Maybe it's possibly a
narrator. Anyone know or have a clue?
